Cissy George is here to tell you the importance of getting involved with extracurricular activities while you are in college and how important it is for you to take leadership roles (board members, team leaders, etc.) to make yourself STAND OUT among others when applying for jobs. (Free Chinese food for Dinner! )

Come to the Student Gunness Center TODAY!! Dinner starts at 5:30, so we can start the event promptly at 6pm. 

So come find out how to STAND OUT for the career fair next week and enjoy a delicious meal!!

• February 1st: First SWE Meeting. Cissy George is back! She will explain the importance of being involved, and getting the most out of SWE. Get your resume to be amazing by adding a leadership position! 6:00-7:00pm in the Gunness Student Center  
  Also SWE Regional Conference Application Due.

• February 7th: ALANA Career Fair:

• February 8th: Deadline for SWE Board 2012 Applications. Please Drop Off Applications in Diversity Programs Office Marston 128 by 5pm.

• February 15th: SWE Board 2012 Elections.
  We will also be having Valentines Day cookie Decorating.

• March 3rd: SWE Regional Conference at MIT!!

• March 7th: Graduate School vs. Industry Panel. We will have companies from all the different Engineering fields come and talk to us about what they prefer from students right after college. Your question of “should I go to grad school, or industry first?” will finally be answered! 5:30 - 7:30pm in Elab II.

• April 4th: Angela Lussier will be back! This time revealing secret interview tips that are sure to make you get the job! 6:00 - 7:00pm in Gunness Student Center!

• April 14th: SWE Senior Appreciation Dinner. Time and Location TBD.

• April 18th: Good Luck with Finals. Final SWE Meeting of the semester. Time and Location TBD.

Getting stressed out from studying for finals, finishing projects, and writing papers? Come take a break. SWE would like to provide students a place when you all can relax, eat and have fun! Today, Thursday December 8th from 7-8:30 PM in Marston 132 we will be having scrapbooking as well as cupcakes and hot chocolate!
