Ending the semester off right!

Taking a well-deserved study break at our last meeting of first semester where SWE members forgot about finals for a few hours to decorate gingerbread men and play Apples to Apples.

Panera Fundraiser Tue Oct 23rd!

Fundraiser Tuesday October 23rd between 5 and 8 pm at the Panera in the Walmart plaza

How it works:
You go to Panera (and bring your friends!!) to order dinner
Make sure to pass in a flyer when you order because we only get money from orders with a flyer
As long as we pass in at least 50 flyers we get 20%!!

Don't forget while you are there to order a dozen bagels or a loaf of bread for later!

Cissy George's Career Fair Tips

Cissy George visited us the Monday after the career fair with the recruiters from Verizon to share what impressed them the most and least. Cissy and other UMass Grads also talked about the most common mistakes new networkers make, tricks on how to get comfortable in an uncomfortable situation, how to open and close a conversation and other needed info to help us land our dream job/internship.
